This old Manutea Tahiti rumV.S.O.P. (Very Superior Old Pale) has aged a minimum of 4 years in oak barrels in our cellar in Moorea. The finesse and complexity of this agricultural rum are the result of a blend of Bourbon barrels, which contribute to the caramelized notes of vanilla, and Banyuls barrels, which develop aromas of candied fruits and undergrowth. In our tropical latitudes, our cellar masters have to deal with the angels, whose share amounts to 7% each year. This is how we achieve the perfect balance between the assertive character of the cane brandy and the delicacy of the wood marked by years of rest.
