Three years of aging in oak barrels is the minimum to qualify for the “old rum” appellation.
This V.O. (Very Old) Single Cask version of Manutea Tahiti pure cane juice rum comes from a single barrel that previously contained Banyuls,
a natural sweet wine from the South of France which develops a palette
of candied fruits around prune and fig complemented by roasted notes with nuances of coffee and cocoa.
Aging in barrels gives the cane eau-de-vie its touches of spices, tobacco and leather. The alcohol is generous with a well-integrated sweetness and
a lingering finish where O'Tahiti cane licorice blends with candied prune.
Manutea Tahiti puts all its know-how at the service of a sweet and generous pure cane juice rum that we invite you to discover.
