Indeed, the Roucou native to South America but also cultivated in other tropical regions of the world, full of vitamins and trace elements (provitamin A (beta-carotene), Calcium, Sulfur, Magnesium, Selenium, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Cellulose) .
It appears to be the ideal companion before, during, and after sun exposure to stimulate tanning and protect and repair the epidermis. Thanks to its combination of UVA/UVB filters, it ensures an intense tan, while protecting tanned skin from the effects of the sun.
The Cosmetic Benefits of Roucou
Excellent stimulant for the synthesis of melanin, roucou oil is 100 times richer in beta-carotene than carrots... It also contains ellagic acid, which neutralizes free radicals and has antioxidant properties which protect against UV rays.
It is therefore an excellent pre- and post-sun preparer.
