Edible coconut oil

Niau extra-virgin coconut oil is extracted by double cold centrifugation, resulting in a transparent oil with no risk of deposits. Unlike other production processes, it is subtle and silky on the skin or in the mouth, not nauseating, and leaves a subtle fresh coconut fragrance on the finish. This oil is 100% produced on the island of Niau in French Polynesia, and all production and packaging operations are carried out in-house, guaranteeing the highest standards of practice and quality (e.g.: the production unit located on the 40-hectare Niau Organic coconut grove uses only nuts grown and selected on their own land).

No coconut waits more than 24 hours before being processed. Coconuts are processed freshly picked. The fruit is opened, grated and pressed immediately. The rapid processing after opening is vital to ensure that the precious flesh does not spoil. Like all natural oils, coconut oil sets below around 24°C. This process is natural and proves that the oil is pure, with no "antifreeze" additives. With autumn and winter temperatures, it may be difficult for coconut oil to return to a liquid state without a little help. Our advice is to place the bottle or jar near a source of heat (sunlight, a stream of hot water or next to a radiator, for example) to melt the required quantity or, if necessary, the entire contents. Note that unlike other oils, virgin coconut oil can go from liquid to solid several times without degrading.

Extra-virgin coconut oil can be used in place of conventional oils for salads, and this precious oil also has a high-temperature cooking rating of 175°C. This natural oil is ideal for all your dishes and pastries. A spoonful on an empty stomach provides energy and acts as an appetite suppressant throughout the morning. A hazelnut in coffee or on toast to give your breakfast a light island fragrance. In a vinaigrette to transform your fish tartar or salad. In cooking to replace oil, butter or margarine (savory dishes, fish, chicken...sweet dishes and desserts Muesli, crumble, muffin, fried banana, financiers, etc.).
